Description
Set for Easter Eggs - Decoupage
Create original Easter eggs with the help of the napkin technique!
Package contents:
- 6 tablets for coloring eggs (red, yellow, blue, orange, purple, turquoise), net weight 4.2 g,
- napkin
- gel glue 4 g (sugar and gum arabic)
- brush
- decorative egg stands 6 pcs
- a box for drying eggs
Instructions for coloring and eggs:
- Before dyeing, we recommend washing the eggs in a solution of baking soda (2 tablespoons of baking soda per 1 liter of water). Prepare hard-boiled eggs. Do not use aluminum utensils!
- For coloring, pour 1-1.5 tablespoons of vinegar (9%) and 1-1.5 tablespoons of water into a mug. Add one color tablet.
- Stir until the tablet dissolves. For a rich color, use hot water and hot eggs.
- Immerse the egg in the prepared solution and leave it there until it is colored to the desired shade (2-5 minutes). You can check the shade by pulling out the egg.
Instructions for decorating eggs:
- Separate the top colored layer from the napkin.
- Cut out the selected motif with scissors.
- Pour the dry gel bag into the container. Add 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of water and mix with the other side of the brush until the gel thickens. Do not add a lot of water to avoid diluting the gel.
- Place the cut out picture on the boiled eggs. With a brush dipped in glue, rub the picture from the center towards the edges. Once the napkin is soaked with glue, it straightens. Gently smooth out unevenness with a brush.
- By peeling off the perforation on the back of the box, you get an egg dryer.
- Do the same for other eggs.
- After drying, you can rub the decorated eggs with gel again to give it a shine.
